Virtual number questions

What is a virtual number?
A phone number that is not tied to a physical phone line. Calls to it are routed over our network to any phone you choose, so you can have a local, London or freephone number and answer it anywhere.
How much does a virtual number cost?
Every number is £4.99 a month including 1,000 free UK minutes. Standard numbers have no setup fee; memorable silver, gold and platinum numbers have a one-off charge. Prices exclude VAT.
Do I need any equipment?
No. A virtual number rings the phones you already have. If you would like a full office phone system, our cloud phone system works with the same numbers.
Where can my calls go?
Anywhere in the UK: a landline, a mobile, or our cloud phone system. You can change the destination at any time in myAlphaTalk, or set different destinations for office hours and evenings.
Can I bring a number I already have?
Yes. We can move most UK numbers to Alphatalk from your current provider, and our team manages the switch so your calls keep flowing.
Can I have more than one number?
Yes. You can have as many numbers as you need, of any type, all managed on one account and one bill.
